Debra Soehren - Kindergarten Mrs. Soehren has an Associate Degree in Child Development and a Bachelor's Degree in Organizational Management with a minor in Economics from Illinois State University. She has completed all course work towards her Master's Degree in Teaching, with a Language Arts Endorsement, from Trinity International University. Mrs. Soehren has eighteen years of experience teaching at the pre-Kindergarten, Kindergarten, and lower grammar school levels. She and her husband are members of First Baptist Church in Wheaton, where she has taught Sunday School for many years and currently serves as a deaconess. |

Carol Nascimento - First Grade Miss Nascimento has a Bachelor’s Degree in Early Childhood Education from Toccoa Falls College in Georgia, with minors in Biblical Studies and Portuguese. She has a year of classical teaching experience and previously taught for five years in an elementary school in Georgia, where she was also appointed by the school principal to mentor new teachers in curriculum design, lesson planning, and lesson delivery. Miss Nascimento attends the Church of the Resurrection. |

Lisa Eekhoff - Third Grade Miss Eekhoff has a Bachelor's Degree in Elementary Education, with a Reading endorsement, from Dordt College, and is currently pursuing a Master's Degree in Curriculum and Instruction. She taught for two years in Saipan (Northern Mariana Islands) and in addition has seven years of classical teaching experience. Miss Eekhoff is a member of Hope Christian Reformed Church in Oak Forest, where she serves as a deacon. |

Sarah Burlingame - Fourth Grade Mrs. Burlingame has a Bachelor's Degree in English and a Master's Degree in Education from Wheaton College. She served as a Teacher's Assistant in the English department at Wheaton College, taught abroad during a short term mission trip, and has two years of classical teaching experience. Mrs. Burlingame and her husband are members of Grace Church of DuPage in Warrenville, where for the past three years she has been regularly teaching in Children's Church. |

Beth Gottlieb - Fifth Grade Miss Gottlieb has a Bachelor's Degree in Elementary Education and a Master's Degree in Literacy from Judson University. She has over six years of teaching experience at the grammar school level, including a summer in Vietnam, one year in Beijing, three years in area Christian schools, and two years of classical teaching experience. An active member of Wheaton Bible Church, Miss Gottlieb has been highly involved in short-term overseas missions and currently directs Neighborhood Bible Clubs. |

Caitlin Bozarth - Logic School Mathematics, Technology Mrs. Bozarth has a Bachelor's Degree in Economics, with a minor in Math, from Wheaton College, where she also completed several education courses. She tutored Math for several years at the elementary and high school levels and has a year of classical teaching experience. Mrs. Bozarth and her husband are members of Naperville Presbyterian Church, where they lead the Middle School youth ministry. |

Laura DeSoto - Logic School Physics, Grammar School Drama Mrs. DeSoto has a Bachelor’s Degree in Biology from Wheaton College and is pursuing her Master’s Degree in Christian Formation Ministries. She has seven years of experience teaching Physical, Life, and Earth Sciences at the Upper School level, including three years at a classical Christian school where she also designed the science curriculum and laboratory. In addition to her education and experience in science, Mrs. DeSoto has a passion for drama. She developed and led an extracurricular drama program and acted with a Christian drama company. Mrs. DeSoto and her family attend River Glen Presbyterian Church in Naperville, where she serves in various ministries, including the evangelism team, the homeless outreach ministry, and children's church. |

Matthew Farrelly - Bible, Logic Mr. Farrelly has a Bachelor's Degree in Christian Thought from Grove City College and a Master's Degree in Biblical Exegesis from Wheaton College. He has four years of classical teaching experience. Mr. Farrelly is a member of the Church of the Resurrection, where he is active in the men's ministry. |

Rachel LoCascio - Rhetoric School English, Logic and Rhetoric School Drama Mrs. LoCascio has a Bachelor's Degree in English from the University of Leeds, UK and a Master's Degree in English Literature from the University of Victoria, British Columbia. She was a Graduate Exchange Scholar in the Department of English at the University of Illinois and also completed doctoral work as part of a University Fellowship in the School of Speech at Northwestern University. Mrs. LoCascio has over twenty years of theatre experience, including serving as the director of The Golden Round Touring Company in Edinburgh and The Lord's Players in Wheaton. Mrs. LoCascio and her husband have four children and are members of The Orchard church in Wheaton |

Kyle Mayer - Logic and Rhetoric School Biology and Chemistry Mr. Mayer has a Bachelor's Degree in Biology from Wheaton College, where he conducted research on DNA patterns in endangered species as part of a cooperative student research program. He has two years of classical teaching experience, has led the junior and senior high school youth groups at his church, and has coached high school lacrosse. Mr. Mayer attends Jericho Road Church in Wheaton. |

Christina Mearse - Logic School Mathematics Mrs. Mearse has a Bachelor’s Degree in Education, with a major in Mathematics, from Oklahoma Christian University. She taught mathematics at the junior high level for five years in Oklahoma public schools, served as a missionary in Japan teaching English for one year, and has two years of classical teaching experience. Mrs. Mearse and her husband have three children and are members of the Naperville Church of Christ, where Mr. Mearse serves as the Youth Pastor. |

Caroline Simmons - Logic and Rhetoric School History Miss Simmons has completed a Bachelor's Degree in History (magna cum laude) and a certification in Secondary Social Studies Education (7-12) from Grove City College. Her student teaching experience included teaching 8th grade US history. She has received honors in history, the Grove City Presidential scholarship, Phi Alpha Theta History Honorary, and Kappa Delta Pi International Educational Honorary. She attends Grace Church of DuPage. |

Sharon Weldy - Logic and Rhetoric School Mathematics Mrs. Weldy has a Bachelor's Degree in Sciences and Letters / Teaching of Mathematics from the University of Illinois. She taught junior and senior high school mathematics at Open Door Christian School, tutored junior and senior high school and college students, and in addition has five years of classical teaching experience. Mrs. Weldy and her husband have three children and are members of New Covenant Church in Naperville. |

Deb Wieland – Logic School English
Mrs. Wieland has a Master of Arts in Teaching from National Louis University and over seven years of experience in teaching Language Arts and Social Studies in area schools. Prior to pursuing her passion for teaching, she received a Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration from the University of Illinois and worked for several years in the corporate world. Mrs. Wieland, her husband, and daughter attend Suburban Life Community Church in Darien, where they are all members of the worship team.

Mark Drevlow - Latin Mr. Drevlow has a Master's Degree in Latin from the University of Illinois, a Master of Divinity from Concordia Seminary and a Bachelor's Degree in Latin from the University of Minnesota. He served as a U.S. Navy chaplain for three years, a pastor for over twenty years and a Latin teacher in area schools for eight years. Mr. Drevlow and his wife have one daughter and attend Divine Shepherd Lutheran Church in Bolingbrook. |

Elizabeth Fuzak – Grammar School Art Mrs. Fuzak has a Bachelor’s Degree in Elementary Education from Northern Illinois University. She has seven years of teaching experience at the grammar school level in area public schools and ten years of homeschooling experience. Mrs. Fuzak has also served as the Children’s Director and led the Drama Ministry and Creative Team at The Sanctuary in Bolingbrook, where she and her family are members. |

Laura Tabbut - Logic and Rhetoric School Art Miss Tabbut has a Bachelor's Degree in Studio Art from Bob Jones University and is pursuing a Master's Degree in English from Middlebury College. She has six years of classical teaching experience in art, history, and literature. Miss Tabbut also taught English in the Czech Republic and studied for a summer at Oxford through a program of the Wheaton College English Department. She recently wrote and directed the play Here, in the Gates. Miss Tabbut attends the Church of the Resurrection, where she serves in the Visual Arts Ministry. |

Bethany Morris - Music Miss Morris has a Bachelor’s Degree in Music Education from Trinity International University. She taught music for three years at a Christian Preschool-12 school in Michigan, where she also developed the music curriculum and led the junior high and high school choirs and bands. Miss Morris has a year of classical teaching experience as well as an extensive vocal performance background and experience in casting and directing musicals and concerts. Miss Morris attends Wheaton Bible Church, where she is active in the high school ministry. |
